Description
God’s plan in history is to govern and promote His holy kingdom. Therefore, the covenant is God’s way of governing his kingdom. When God began to promote His redemptive kingdom from Genesis 3:15, He governed His kingdom through the covenant of grace and its different implementations.
The Moses Covenant is the constitution of Israel’s theocracy. The New Testament is the constitution of the church-the heavenly kingdom on earth. The people in the kingdom of God are called covenant groups and citizens of the kingdom of heaven.
