Follow Me is an illustrated book of Bible stories for young children. These stories tell the eternal message of the Bible, highlighting the scarlet thread of God’s redemptive history. In the Old Testament, we are pointed to the Lord Jesus as we see how much we need Him and how God promised to save the world through Him. In the New Testament, we learn that Jesus came to earth and increasingly manifested His kingdom by His words and deeds-a kingdom that will never end.
Features:
- Contains 116 Bible stories
- Attractive illustrations for every story
- References for the corresponding Bible passage
- Questions for applying God’s Word
- Appendixes containing the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Priestly Benediction as they are recorded in the King James Version of the Bible
386 pages
“Translated from the Dutch language, this attractive book of 116 well-known Bible stories for young children with accompanying illustrations and questions to apply God’s Word is precisely what many parents are looking for. Told in a memorable way in short sentences and in simple language, these stories look at the Scriptures through children’s eyes and ears. This will become the favorite Bible story book for many children and in many families.”
-Joel R. Beeke, president of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and author of numerous children’s books
“Follow Me” is a refreshingly simple and engaging rendering of Bible history. As is customary for Children’s Bibles, the author follows the progression of redemption history. This Children’s Bible is unique, however, in that each chapter ends with three or four questions that will assist parents in 1) reviewing the content of each chapter, 2) extract a key lesson from the chapter, and 3) help their young child(ren) apply the story to their own lives. “Follow Me” therefore offers a combination of great storytelling and personal application, and is ideally suited for conducting family worship with young children.
