Do you have a hard time imagining that God looks at you with a warm smile of affection and delight? Does it feel like he must be disappointed in you? Many Christians struggle with embarrassment and shame due to their failures and sins, living with an internal voice that constantly reminds them of all the ways they don’t measure up.
Marc Davis shares what it means to live your life under the grace of God, knowing that your identity, security, and relationship with him are not based on your performance but on God’s love and kindness through Jesus. He encourages believers to turn to Christ with both their sin and their weakness, striving to please God out of gratitude for his grace and the freedom of his unchanging approval and favor.
