Philippians: God’s Very Special Letters – The Epistles for Kids

“Live your lives in a way that shows what a treasure the good news of Christ is.”

A new translation of Paul’s letter to the Philippians in the language of children.
Every verse, every chapter – fully illustrated with captivating colour and stories.
These are God’s Very Special Letters.

One of the first volumes in the ground-breaking Epistles for Kids series.

These letters in the Bible have changed lives and changed the world for thousands of years. We want to everything we can to help kids access, hear, and believe the message of God within them.

Here is a Bible that looks and feels like it was made for them, with over 50+ pages of stunning and immersive illustrations that promote deep exploration and comprehension of the text.

Most kids’ Bibles skip over this part of the Scriptures, or provide only a brief paraphrase. But this is a new translation, translated with serious care from the original Greek language, using only words that children use in the schoolyard every day.

Whether you are young or old – come on a journey to the ancient city of Philippi, as Epaphroditus arrives with a letter from Paul who is imprisoned in Rome. Watch as the church there opens the scroll to hear all about Paul’s incredible courage and dedication to the mission of the good news of Christ. Follow Christ as he walks the path of humility to the cross, and calls us to follow in his ways for the unity of the church. Be refreshed by Paul’s single-minded joy in Christ his treasure and righteousness, and be inspired to run with him towards the heavenly finish line. Listen in on his advice to the quarrelling co-workers in chapter 4, and his thankfulness for the generosity of his dear friends.

It’s all there in Philippians – and it’s ready to be explored by children like never before.

“I really encourage you to share these books with the children in your life.”
Alistair Begg
Former Senior Pastor, Parkside Church

“For the child, the Epistles have long been unread letters at the end of the Bible. Not anyone. The Epistles for Kids has changed that. These books are beautifully illustrated and lyrically written. They are edifying for both adults and children. A great resource for a church to use to explore a letter together, for parents to read with their children, or for children to read themselves. What a joy it is to see these precious letters come to life for children.”
